Tiny flying video camera automatically follows you around.
The ‘MeCam’ is a small quadrocopter able to be launched from the palm of a hand to take photos or video of a user. It hovers automatically and can be controlled using voice commands, or by using a ‘follow me’ feature which automatically follows and records your every move.
The MeCam is based on the a Cortex-A9 SoC Module which can run from 1.0GHz to 1.5GHz depending on the configuration. It features 1GB RAM, an SD card, 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The MeCam was created by Always Innovating, who won’t produce it directly, instead licensing the product to other manufacturers. The first MeCam could hit store shelves as early as the start of 2014.
